Our service facility is locally owned right here in Evansville, Indiana. We are the same Zeller family that has operated this business for over 58 years. We run a full-service repair and maintenance facility for all vehicles. We use state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to guarantee your vehicle is repaired or serviced properly and in a timely manner. Here at Zeller's, we want to make sure that you get a reasonable price, the best value, and most of all, a great customer experience, keeping our loyal customers coming back time and time again for their automotive needs.

History
In 1960, Master Tire was founded by Charles (Chuck) Zeller and Francis (Fuzz) Herr in Evansville, IN. They started in a one-bay garage retailing passenger tires, and doing light service work. The story Fuzz told, was their garage was so small they had to pull the car in forward and change the front tires and then back the car in to change the rear tires. A few years later, Master Tire moved and expanded into a newly built four-bay garage with a customer showroom. They doubled their employees from two to four. “ I knew they were going to be successful when they built the new building on land that was previously used as St. Anthony’s Church convent”, said Father Ted Temple, friend and loyal customer for 58 years.
In 1978, Fuzz passed away, leaving Chuck sole owner. The second generation of the Zeller family came into the business. Bryan started in the business in 1979 and now President of the corporation. Chuck's daughter, Laura (Zeller) Rust was employed in 1981 and is Office Manager. Chuck's wife Betty, has worked part-time since 1979. Blake Zeller started part-time learning the business just like his Dad. Starting in the service area changing tires, changing oil and doing general clean up while still in high school. Blake has gone on to graduate from the University of Southern Indiana with a business degree. He is now the manager of the west side location. Blair (Zeller) McClish started part-time while attending the University of Southern Indiana and graduating with a business degree. She works at our downtown location in the Accounts Receivables and Payables Department.
In 1983, the name was changed to Master Tire and Accessories, Inc. The company became more focused on full automotive service and installing aftermarket accessories. In 2001, we purchased the west side location, which was a two-bay gas station built in 1960. Bryan and a few part-time employees ran this location for two years until it was decided to build a new state-of-the-art service center with gas pumps.
On January 27, 2013 Chuck Zeller, our Dad, passed away after a battle with Pancriatic Cancer. He owned and operated Master Tire for 53 years! He enjoyed coming to work every day. He loved visiting with his long-time customers and the new customers he met every day. On December 10, 2016 David Zeller, our brother, passed away after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer. David enjoyed many things in life, but Master Tire and his customers were at the top! Bryan Zeller has now moved back to the downtown location full time, working alongside Crystal Hoffman, assistant manager, who has been an employee for 27 years. We have serviced the Evansville and tri-state area for 58 years and look forward to servicing you for many years to come.
In 2018, we decided to incorporate the Zeller name with Master Tire, now making both lcoations Zeller's Master Tire Inc.
